Valdas Urbonas "I have no reproaches for anybody”
"Ekranas" head coach Valdas Urbonas didn’t criticised his team after the loss to “Viking”, but he paid attention to a better game quality and fighting spirit.

"As for the game, all thoughts turn to the result first. Today, it is not important to us. Now we’re most interested in the quality of the game, how to organize it, how to fix it. Looking at the results, I do not think that we deserve this. Of course, I feel sorry for the men, they worked hard the quality was good. The hardest thing is to psychologically accept the outcome of the match.
On the other hand, it should not be paid much attention. It is worth noticing good sides of the game. In the first forty-five minutes, the game was nearly equal or sometimes on the Norwegian side. Talking about judge’s decisions, now I do not want tell excuses or expand on it. In the second half, the game we demonstrated was good. Everybody could play, despite these changes, the quality of play wasn’t hurt and I’m happy.
At the end of the match, let's call it, we had an accident. We being 6 or 7 in the penalty area managed to let one person who scored the goal. This shows that football is played until the final whistle. It’s good we got this lesson now, this is very important experience, which can only be gained in competitions like this.
Without sports anger, excitement, there won’t be the game itself. Especially against Scandinavian teams like this, that promote football, based on physical strength. You cannot come down at this point you have to accept the challenge. The good news is that it took we were able to dictate our terms. We need to preserve it and convey it to the majority of the matches. If you do that, everybody will see "what is "Ekranas".
I repeat we focus on playing with rivals like this, which can provide useful experience. All that appeared in the pitch put a lot of effort. More specifically, this was Dainius Gleveckas, Andrius Arlauskas their game impressed me. The latter returned to the team after the break, having in mind that he does not yet have enough playability practice, his game in the first forty-five minutes was great. Most important thing is: I cannot say that somebody disappointed. You can lose, but after the defeat, you can’t criticize the players, this is the big thing."
