M.Andjelkovič: "Anderlecht" showed what they can"
After unsuccessful match in Brussels, “Ekranas” had to admit that opponents a deserved victory. According to football players, the difference of classes was obvious, and the first scored goal was significant to all the game.

Anderlecht were at a different level compared to us. Anderlecht are a good team and a big club – they showed it on the pitch. When you lose against a good team there is no shame. To concede a goal after a few minutes was very bad for us. We had some chances but when you miss them against Anderlecht they punish you.

The result was right because our opponents had a lot of chances. We conceded the first goal too quickly and that hurt us. We tried to fight but we struggled. They then scored the second and the third goals. It was embarrassing to lose this way, but the result tells the truth. We had chances but we were not lucky. Anderlecht are a stronger side than us and a club at the highest level.

"Went to the pitch I felt good, I wanted to be useful for both in defense and attacking. Belgians taught how to play football. The result says that the opponents were faster and stronger. Much led that they scored very quickly. It unsettled. As before the match we emphasized the need not to miss a quick goal, to prevent the play, concentrate on defense. I had to score a goal when I went to the pitch, it was a very real chance, and such opportunities should be used. Maybe I was not enough of concentration."
