Draw in match with Latvian champions

“Ekranas” Panevezys continues cycle of matches and tied 1:1 in a match against Latvian champions FC “Venspils” in Marijampole hall on Sunday.
“Ekranas” controlled the ball more in the first half. However, FC “Venspils” forward had the best chance to score, he ran one-on-one against the goalkeeper, but didn’t manage to score, because T. Kauneckas played very well.
In the second half, Latvia team scored the goals at 55 minute. Going to the end of the match, “Ekranas” took over the initiative and the active game was turned into a goal. M. Savenas at 83 minute equalised the result.
